Three ways to get involved today

Your local Liberal Democrats campaign all year round across Merthyr Tydfil and the Rhymney valleys on issues that really matter to local people. From small problems at to street level to backing campaigners working to stop the Brig-y-Cwm incinerator, to fighting to retain local hospital wards - the Liberal Democrats are working for the whole area. How ever you can help, our campaigning relies on volunteers and donations - we are not backed by big business and trade unions, and our leaflets and campaigning are paid for and distributed through local donations and support.

Make Sure You Can Vote

At each election, many people fully intend to vote but then end up busy on pollling day and don't get the chance to make their voice heard.

Make sure your vote and voice is heard by applying for a postal vote. Every elector is entitled to vote by post, and your ballot paper will be sent to you around 2 weeks before polling day, with clear instructions and a reply paid envelope. You can vote at home, and return your vote before polling day - otherwise it's so easy to forget!

If you are a registered elector in either Merthyr Tydfil or Caerphilly boroughs, you can register to vote by post using the link below - your completed request is then sent directly to the relevant council official.

Our campaign depends on volunteers, specifically to help us get our message out to residents.
